Need to go inside a tank or into an underground vault. No problem. All IWM employees are trained in confined space protocols that were prepared in compliance with 29 CFR 1910.146. All employees that have a responsibility
that may involve a confined space entry must meet the following minimum requirements. These requirements pertain to observers and rescuers as well
as actual entrants.
1. OSHA-SARA 40-hr HazWoper training
2. Specialized training that encompasses “ Confined Space Awareness”, Emergency Response & First Aid/CPR
3. Fit testing for respirator use and lung capacity test.
4. General physical fitness
